Life Saving Victoria
A not-for-profit social enterprise working as the Victorian branch of the Royal Life Saving Society Australia initiative

Overview
Life-Saving Victoria required a robust and versatile website to effectively showcase their wide range of offerings.
Life Saving Victoria’s website redesign posed a complex UX challenge: the organisation serves a wide range of user personas with varying goals; from accessing education programs and signing up for events to locating lifeguard-patrolled beaches, downloading government documentation, and staying updated on water safety news. With a vast library of legacy content and multiple internal stakeholders—each with their own priorities: the project demanded a strategic approach to content architecture, accessibility, and scalability.
To address these needs, we focused on streamlining core services and restructuring the site for clarity, usability, and WCAG AA compliance, all while respecting strict brand guidelines. Key pages were wireframed with modular content blocks and stylised templates, empowering internal teams to maintain and expand the site with minimal friction. This system not only ensured consistency and ease of use across updates but also allowed new content, like reports and blogs: to be added without compromising the integrity of the design or user experience.
